The diffuser is topped with a 100% recyclable aluminum ring in which you place the eight natural, black rattan sticks to absorb the oil and then diffuse into your home. Your diffuser comes with a scent in the box but  after 6-9 months you can get a refill of the same scent or change the scent as the seasons change to fit your mood.
